Anti–Wrinkle Treatments with Botox® at Chiswick Dental Care

Botox® can be prescribed to reduce, soften and in some cases eliminate fine lines and dynamic wrinkles (caused by facial expressions) as well as improve and refresh the appearance of the face and smile.

We endeavour to get the right dosage for you to give you the most natural and youthful look possible.

These anti-wrinkle injections are carried out using a fine needle targeting specific muscles with minimal discomfort. When Botox is injected into the facial muscle, it causes a block between the nerve and muscle.

Once injected, the nerve sends signals to the muscle to contract which temporarily eradicates wrinkles and gives your face a smoother look. In time this block breaks down and the nerve communicates with the muscle again causing contractions. You should notice a difference within a few days but it may take up to 2 weeks for it to take full effect.

The toxin once broken down in the muscle will not be passed anywhere else in the body so it is entirely safe to have administered.
